No ethnographic museum?

[edit]

It may perhaps go unnoticed under another name, but is there no ethnographic/ethnologic museum in K.?77.162.130.139 (talk) 20:11, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No there isn't. There are permanent ethnographic/ethnologic exhibitions on certain museums (Museum of Copenhagen and Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek I think). --80.72.152.154 (talk) 06:50, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The National Museum has two permanent ethnographic exhibitions, The Peoples of the World and Ethnographical Treasury. --Klausok (talk) 10:51, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Address format

[edit]

Is there any reason that addresses are given in this format?

1 Amalienborg Slotsplads
1257 København K

The correct Danish format is

Amalienborg Slotsplads 1
1257 København K

while an American would excpect

1 Amalienborg Slotsplads
København K
1257

I firmly believe the Danish address format should be used; the only thing that makes sense is to use the format used in the country we are writing about. Also, Wikipedia is not American, it's international; it just comes in different languages. So using an American address format over any other format would be weird.
Furthermore, for the sake of correctness, the American format would be more like
1 Amalienborg Slotsplads
København K 1257
But the American format really is irrelevant as these addresses are not American. We should follow the address format used in the country we write about. --Jhertel (talk) 09:18, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
